Happy
New Year
Written, Designed and with Photographs by
й Brian Ecott
Welcome to my personal web site, within which, I hope to share with you
the History and Wildlife of Hainault Forest, gathered over many years,
whilst living close by in Hainault and Clayhall, in the London Borough of
Redbridge.
The people of Redbridge should
be proud of those visionaries who in 1903 secured Hainault Forest as an
open space, for us, forever. We are indebted to Edward North Buxton and
the Leaders of the Local Authorities for making it possible.
